- The Anne of Green Gables Museum, Silver Bush ?(3)
이 박물관에서는 여러가지 파생사업을 하고 있는데 몽고메리 여사가 했던 결혼식대로 거행하는 결혼식이 있는데 그때 사용했던
올갠,카펫, 등을 지금도 꼭같이 사용한다. 그리고 결혼식에 꼭 있어야 되는 모든 요소들, 주례,축가,올갠연주자,전통부케,코사지,봉보니에,꽃꽂이,신랑가운과
면사포,리무진이나 앤틱 카,전통 리셉션 등도 모두 준비하고 있으며 사진사와 비디오,심지어 신부화장까지도 연계되있다.
또 Matthew’s Carriage Rides 라 하여 빨간머리 앤 소설의 주인공이 된양, 매튜의 캐리지 마차타는
코스도 있는데 (점심을 들면서) 마차를 타고 아름다운 화원을 출발하여 빤짝이는 호수변을 따라 푸른 초원의 언덕을 오르고,
바닷가 하얀 백사장을 돌아오는 멋은 말이 필요없는 일품이라는 설명이다
그외에도 박물관 부속건물에는 몽고메리 여사가 손수 공들여 만들어 보았던 것과 같은, 전통 크레지퀼트류를 전시한 Shining
Waters Craft Shop이 있는데 여기서는 십자수,수제스웨터,이 섬에서 나는 씨앗들과 잼,그리고 민예품등과
함께 퀼트공예품을 구경하고 살수도 있다.
내가 들렀던 티하우스에서는 “반짝이는 호수”와 아름다운,센트로렌스만의 모래사장과 바다경치를 한꺼번에 내려다 보면서
느긋하게 오후의 티와 씨나몬롤을 즐길수도 있으며 집에서 손수만든 여러가지 컨츄리 스타일의 음식을 맛볼수 있어 항상
사람들로 적당히 붐비는 곳이다. 게다가 넓은 농장에서 관광객이 직접 감자를 심어보고 때맞춰 수확하는 체험관광코스도
있고, 다양한 부대사업을 전개하고 있다. 
나오며 마주보이는 이 농장의 진짜 명물 “빤짝이는 호수’는 햇볓을 받아 소설처럼 반짝이며 초록의 언덕과 또 그넘어
멀리 가물거리는 바다와 어울려 보는이의 감탄과 칭찬을 절로 받게 하는 승경이었다. 인사를 하고 나서서 차가 고개를
다시오를 때까지 이 오랜 가문의 겸허한 장문은 붙은듯 그 자리에 서서 하염없이 손을 흔들고 있었다.

Robertson Library, U.P.E.I.
The Prince Edward Island Collection
at the University of Prince Edward Island's Robertson Library
is an essential resource for anyone wishing to learn more
about L.M. Montgomery's beloved home. The Robertson Library
holds at least one copy of all of L.M. Montgomery's publications,
along with a generous selection of scholarly and popular
literature discussing her life and work. Most of the materials
are to be found in the Prince Edward Island Collection and
you may search the collection's holdings using the Robertson
Library's on-line catalogue.
Although manuscripts and other unpublished
documents are not normally acquired for the Prince Edward
Island Collection, a number of letters written by Montgomery
to her close friend Penzie Macneill during her late childhood
and adolescence were donated to the Robertson Library some
years ago by UPEI faculty member and internationally-acclaimed
Island historian F.W.P. Bolger. Reproductions of these letters
are available for examination by the public, but the originals
may be viewed only by special arrangement with the P.E.I.
Collection Librarian. The Robertson Library also houses
a selection of Montgomery's works in the Anita Webb Collection
and the Macdonald Collection, which include a number of
first editions and presentation copies inscribed and annotated
by the author herself. These collections are owned by the
L.M. Montgomery Institute and may only be accessed by arrangement
with the Institute.
